Royal visit on May 21, 2018

At ZLDR Air Factory, the cycling royals were met by a number of sympathisers. Under the eye of the Well Witch, they were ushered in by Tom Michielsen of Muse. He gave a brief historical overview of mining, partly based on the Lego model made by Dirk Denoyelle. Both sovereigns showed great interest in this. Tom also further explained the current and future use of the building and briefly showed them around the exhibition.
